The Stugio Sessions is a project where we invite friends, folks, hunters, fishermen and other liars to our cabin (stuga) deep in the woods for a weekend of creativity. What comes out of this weekend is what appears on the record.

The Chase is a trio of young supertalented musicians. Straight from music highschool to our cabin! The result is a dubby excursion sampled from mountain hikes and ice cold river swims.

The track Vålbrändan e.g. contains samples from back in the days when people in the area moved their cattle up in the mountains at pasture during the summer. The special singing technique or calling( lockrop) was used gather the cattle spread out over the hills and valleys. It worked! This record will call for you!
